Job DescriptionJob Summary:The Produce Department Team Trainer plays a vital role in supporting the success of our team members by delivering quality training and ensuring a positive learning experience. This role requires a strong passion for teaching and mentoring, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Key Responsibilities:

• Training and Development:
• Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing team members, focusing on produce department operations, customer service, and sales techniques.
• Coaching and Mentoring:
• Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to team members to help them improve their skills and performance.
• Team Support:
• Support the team by providing guidance, feedback, and resources to help them succeed in their roles.
• Communication:
• Communicate effectively with team members, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that training needs are met and that the team is working together effectively.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements to training programs and team processes.Requirements:
  • Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience:
  • 6 months of retail experience, preferably in a produce department or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of software applications (MS Office Suite).
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.Working Conditions:
    • This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
    • The team trainer will be required to stand for long periods, walk, and move around the store as needed.
