Principal Data Governance Engineer

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Principal IT Engineer - Data Governance to support the delivery of well-governed data.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain data governance processes and automated reporting
Collaborate with engineering teams to protect data assets throughout their lifecycle
Function as an Enterprise Data Steward for core data domains and manage data quality rules

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information systems or equivalent program
3-5 years of experience in Data Management and Data Governance
Practical experience with Enterprise Data Catalogs and Data Quality tools
Strong knowledge of Data Governance related Knowledge Areas
Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and SQL
