currently seeking a Vice President/Director of Credit and Pricing
Analytics to drive credit policy, offer strategy, and overall
analytics for OneMain's growing Point-of-Sale/embedded lending
business. This individual will lead and coach a team of analysts
and drive analytical insights and excellence as we grow this line
of business.As a key member of the both the Point-of-Sale business
and the overall credit and pricing analytics leadership team, this
individual will be responsible for driving business results through
multiple areas including growth strategies, credit and merchant
risk management, and enhanced customer experiences. Strategies
driven and influenced by this leader and their team include but are
not limited to underwriting decisions, pricing, product terms,
customer segmentation, channel optimization, customer experience,
and operating metrics and servicing.Working with internal and
external partners, the role will also have responsibilities for
strategy implementation, technology roadmap development,
competitive intelligence, and performance monitoring. This
individual will represent the company and engage with strategic
partners, internal stakeholders, and capital partners.In the RoleA
successful candidate will utilize skills that enable them to be
versatile and successfully lead initiatives across multiple
disciplines. They will bring new ways of thinking, data sources,
technologies, and capabilities to our business.
- Drive credit policy and analytics for point of sale / embedded
lending
- Develop the vision and set of objectives to create step change
improvements in our business
- Design, recommend, document, and execute consumer and merchant
underwriting, product, and customer experience strategies to
optimize risk adjusted returns
- Partner with data science, digital teams, critical strategic
partners and other leaders to define business priorities, align
talent and resources, and communicate to executive leaders
- Use new data sources, analytical frameworks, and models to
create insights, draw conclusions, and influence at all levels of
the organization
- Elevate talent within team through effective hiring, coaching,
and mentoring team membersRequirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline (Engineering,
Statistics, Economics, Business Management, or Computer
Science)
- 7+ years of experience in consumer lending, driving informative
risk decisions through analyses; Master's or PHD degrees may offset
experience
- 5+ years of analytics leadership experience, building and
prioritizing teams and objectives based on company strategy
- Advanced analytical skillset using tools such as SQL, SAS, R,
or Python
- Innovative and capable of developing creative solutions to
complex, data-driven problemsPreferred
- Track record of success in Point of Sale, Sales Finance,
Embedded Lending, Buy Now Pay Later and similar B2B2C lending
