About the role

Reporting to the Divisional CFO and supporting the greater DTC global business, this role will be responsible for the financial operations of our North American offices, based in Virginia, Pennsylvania and Oregan and will provide high level support to the operations & sales functions within the US offices.

Core elements will include:

Revenue and expense forecasting and sales pipeline analysis
Bid and proposal support for Sales which includes pricing, payment profile and margin analysis.
Ensuring contracts and orders are in compliance with the corporate framework
Support the divisional finance team in managing departmental budgets, expenditure and supporting inventory management processes.
Manage business systems and standards
Support to the US project management team as required.
Support the divisional finance team in managing sales & corporate tax compliance.
Reporting and review of financial and operational KPI's
Supporting Director of Accounting with cash flow management & coordinating with AP & AR teams
Supporting payroll function
Ensure compliance with payment terms and support the management of debtors.

About You

To be successful in your application for this newly created position, you will have demonstrated experience within a financial management environment, have exposure to business and systems integration, and managing change within a complex multi-site business. You will also possess high level organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, that will facilitate positive business outcomes for all internal and external stakeholders and will have aligned supporting qualifications and accreditations.

You will ideally have exposure to Microsoft Office Suite, SalesForce, Microsoft Dynamics AX or other aligned ERP systems, and an understanding of business taxation rules within the US.

Although not considered essential, experience within a manufacturing, communications or technical engineering environment would be highly regarded.

This position will need to undertake frequent interstate travel and the preparedness to undergo US Security Clearance

Within the DTC business we recognise and respect the need for flexible working arrangements, however due to the high touch team engagement nature of this role, it will be predominantly based at our Ashburn facility with occasional working from home arrangements to be agreed when required.
