  Shift:--Days / 9a-5:30p, 8x5, 40 hrs/week

  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • VA license
  • Will accept 1 year experience and 1st time travelers
  • 2 years of experience in Mammography preferred
  • Digital, 3D - Required
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent and completion of a training program in imaging technology from an accredited school
  • Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program
  • Current on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRT
  • ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible
  • Hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography
    
  • BLS
  • Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred
  • Knowledge of database software
  • RIS/PACS software and eRad is preferred
  • Prior quality control experience preferred
    
    Other Details:The Mammography Technologist operates X-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
