Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Neuro ICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years of experience in vents and neuro ICU License: DC RN Licensure Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have:- Cerner experience preferred- Proficiency in conscious sedation, ICP, strong neuro background, and EVD proficiency- Navy blue scrubs required (not provided)- Flu vaccine required; no exemptionsJob Description: - Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity - Weekend work required every other weekend, no on-call requirement - Required to work holidays - Accepts first-time travelers - No RTO allowed during the first two weeks of an assignment, and no more than 7 days RTO per 13-week contract - Modules are billable up to 4 hours with an average of 12 hours on modules completed pre-start and potentially during orientation - Orientation: 28 hours (50% non-billable) - May come into contact with Covid patients
