Job Description:

Maxar has an immediate opening for a Full Stack Software Developer/Engineer to join our team supporting a mission to solve unique and challenging problems for national security. The ideal candidate will be part of a small multi-disciplinary software team and will have the unique opportunity to interact directly with users and other technologists to ensure solutions, development and tools meet the needs of the customer.

An active Secret clearance required; Develop enabling software solutions using a variety of languages that address real world user requirements; Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, high-quality software for our technology stack.
Collaborate with the program manager, engineers, and other stakeholders to define software requirements and specifications.
Design and implement efficient, flexible solutions that can scale for mission critical applications.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Write robust test suites to ensure high-quality code.
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.
- Developing custom software solutions
- Performing data extraction, manipulation, and visualization with proficiency in JavaScript, Java, and/or Python
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular

Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
US citizenship and active Secret clearance

Strong Linux skills and familiarity with cloud architectures, AWS, C2S, Openstack, etc
Familiarity with common industry software tools, concepts, and DevSecOps
