Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Professional Fee Coder.
Key Responsibilities
Assign appropriate codes for various medical records using CPT,
ICD, and MS-DRG systems
Research medical records and resolve pre-bill edits and denials for
assigned accounts
Maintain coding accuracy and productivity standards while staying
updated on coding guidelines
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
One of the following coding certifications at the time of hire:
CCS, CCS-P, CPC-H, or RHIT/RHIA
Three to five years of coding experience required
Inpatient coding experience preferred
Certified Professional Coder credential is essential
